Overview
OleoFlex is a hybrid material comprised of natural oils and an advanced synthetic polymer blend. The result is a flexible, anhydrous structurant that has many unique applications in personal care and color cosmetic formulations. The EG 200 series structures oils by creating a three-dimensional micro-sponge polymer network, resulting in a thermal-reversible, viscoelastic gel texture. It is generally used in skin care and “stick” applications that require a more flexible substantiation of natural oils along with a more soft and cushioned sensory profile.
Applications and Use
Structurant for stick formulations, body butters, scrubs, masks, lotions, and creams. Also used as binding agent for pressed powders and as a hair repair active in restorative conditioners.
