Overview
TeraBiome is a sophorolipid surfactant from fermentation that acts as both a prebiotic and gentle cleanser for the skin and hair. It has a bioactive and cleansing effect, reducing inflammation and ensuring barrier function and balanced microbiome. TeraBiome reduces the inflammatory cytokine production of skin cells, whereas traditional synthetic surfactants often cause irritation and sensitization. Gentle enough to be used in leave-on products and provides a soft, moisturized afterfeel.
